राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष महासंघ

These terms apply to your use of the National Space Federation website at nationalspacefederation.com, including the downloadable copy of the website, and to any programme, competition, event, membership or other service you register or pay for through it (together, “the Services”).

In these terms, “the Federation”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the National Space Federation, 2nd Floor, Palm Arcade, Vazhakkala, Kochi, Kerala, India. “You” and “your” mean any person or organisation that uses the website or the Services, including anyone who registers or pays on behalf of a student.

By using the website or the Services you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the Services.

Electronic record

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. They are generated by a computer system and do not need a physical or digital signature. They are published in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, which require websites to publish their rules, privacy policy and terms of use.

About the website

The website provides information about the Federation and its programmes, competitions and community activities. Reading the website does not by itself register you for any programme, competition or membership.

Registration and your information

When you register for a Service:

  • you must give information that is true, accurate, current and complete, and keep it up to date
  • if you register on behalf of a student under 18, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian, or have their parent’s or guardian’s consent
  • you are responsible for keeping any account or login details private, and for everything done using them
  • we may refuse or cancel a registration that contains false or misleading information, or that breaks these terms or the rules of the activity

Fees and payments

Some Services have a fee. Where they do, the fee, what it covers and any deadline are shown on the relevant page or registration form before you pay.

  • All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are made online through a third-party payment gateway. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on the payment gateway’s secure page and are not stored by the Federation. The payment gateway’s own terms also apply to your payment.
  • When you complete a payment, you enter into a binding agreement with the Federation for that Service.
  • A registration is confirmed only when we have received the payment in full. We will send a confirmation to the email address you gave us.
  • We are not responsible for charges added by your bank or payment provider, or for a payment that fails because of a problem with your bank, card or network.

Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date. Programmes, competitions, dates and other details may change, and the website may not always reflect the latest position. Neither we nor any third party guarantee that the information or materials on the website are accurate, complete, timely or suitable for any particular purpose, and they may contain errors. It is your responsibility to check that a Service meets your needs before you register or pay. Where an activity has its own official website or rules, those take precedence over the summary on this website.

Olympiads and other external programmes

Some pages describe programmes that are run by other organisations on their own websites, such as the International Space Olympiad and the Indian Space Science Olympiad. Eligibility, registration, fees, dates, results and prizes for those programmes are set and managed by their organisers, under their own terms. Fees paid directly to another organiser are not covered by these terms or by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Please check the official website of each programme before taking part.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website and of the Services, including text, design, layout, graphics, study material and question papers, belongs to the National Space Federation or is licensed to it. Using the website or the Services does not give you any ownership of or rights in that content.

  • The Federation’s name and emblem may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our written permission, and the emblem must not be altered.
  • You may view, download and print pages for personal, educational and non-commercial use, provided you do not change them and you acknowledge the Federation as the source.
  • You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or sell material from the Services, such as study material or question papers, without our written permission.
  • Images, quotations and other material from third parties remain the property of their owners and are used with credit where required. You must not reuse them without the owner’s permission.

If you believe material on the website infringes your copyright or other rights, please contact us and we will review it promptly and remove it where appropriate.

  • use them for any purpose that is unlawful or forbidden by these terms, or in a way that harms others
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code, or interfere with the website’s operation
  • copy large parts of the website, or present its content as your own or as the Federation’s when it is not
  • use the Federation’s name or emblem to mislead others
  • use unfair means in any competition, test or assessment

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice.

Events beyond our control

Neither you nor we will be liable for failing or delaying to meet an obligation under these terms if this is caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, government orders, war, civil unrest, strikes, or failures of power, internet or payment systems.

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Please check this page from time to time. Continuing to use the website or the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms. Any terms you propose that add to or conflict with these terms do not apply unless we agree to them in writing.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of the website or the Services, are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ernakulam, Kerala, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
